Using FrontPage2000/2002 to Publish Pages

How do I put my site on RSEGroup's servers?

1. Open the WEB you wish to move in the FrontPage2000 Explorer using the File | Open Web Option.

2. Then select the File | Copy Web Option. (Note: in FrontPage2000 the "Copy Web" command is "Publish Web")

3. In the Destination Web Server Box enter your domain name (yourcompany.com).

4. Make sure the Add to Existing Web box is checked.

5. Press the OK button.

6. FrontPage2000 will prompt you for you Login and Password.  These were provided in the confirmation letter you received.

FrontPage2000 will now begin to transfer the WEB from your computer to RSEGroup's server.

Note: You must be connected to the internet in order for this to work.

.How do I change my pages once they are on RSEGroup's server?

There are two ways you can do this.  You may edit the pages locally on your machine and then transfer the site using the File | Publish Web Option  as you did when you first published your pages.  Or, you may open your site directly by entering your domain name (yourcompany.com) in the Web Server box under the File | Open Web Option.  Press the list webs button and select the <Root Web> option that appeared  in the dialog box below.  Then select OK.  FrontPage2000 will now open the site live on our servers.  Any changes you make to your site will be instantly reflected on your live site.

What kind of server is my site hosted on?

We are running Windows 2000 Servers using Internet Information Server 5.0

How do I make my order form secure?

Make sure you have ordered the SSL Option!

1. Create your order form in FrontPage 2000/2002.

2. Upload your page as usual BUT link to the page using " https:// " instead of "http://"

When I access my site I get a HTTP/1.0 403 Access Forbidden.  Whats wrong?

The default file served by RSEGroup is default.htm.  The main cause of this message is that the default.htm file is missing or you are using some other name such as index.htm or index.html. E-mail us and we will change the name for you.
